Glamour Pools and Spas was established in 1967, laying the foundation of being the First Pool Company in Newcastle. We have been proudly providing Newcastle and Lake Macquarie residents with the best quality products available from the world’s leading brands. Our influence stretched into other towns, North to Port Stephens and surrounding areas. West to Cessnock and the Hunter Region. South into the Central Coast Suburbs and West Lake Macquarie.

We are the oldest continuously family-owned and operated pool store in Australia with over 150 years of combined experience and knowledge of both the pool and spa industry. This combination gives our team the best chances of troubleshooting and solving problems that pool and spa owners are faced with from time to time. We have also been a member of SPASA NSW Since 1980.

In 1996, Glamour Pools and Spas became a Guardex by Biolab Dealer, providing water quality solutions to pool and spa owners across the Hunter. It wasn’t long before we became a Premium BioGuard Dealer. The BioGuard water quality products are of the highest quality with patented formulas designed to give pool and spa owners’ peace of mind when managing their pools.

1998 saw the introduction of ClevaQuip Australia, and we became a Pool Power and Hayward Pool Products Supplier, Hayward being the world’s largest pool product supplier. We found a supplier of quality Australian made Salt Chlorinators and Distributor of American Made Hayward Pool Products. This gave us a product line that has the reputation of being extremely reliable with above the industry average in product lifespans and warranties. Hayward now offers the energy efficient 10 Star Variable Speed Tristar Pump.

In 2008 Glamour Pools and Spas become one of the founding dealers of the Just Spas Brand. This allowed us to provide residents with the best Australian Made and imported Spas and Swim Spas. We then became one of the largest Just Spas Platinum MegaStore in New South Wales with over 15 spas and at least 2 Swim Spas. When fully stocked we carry over 20 spas and upwards of 5 Swim Spas on display at any one time.

Late 2011, Glamour Pools and Spas started providing Pool Owners with Dolphin Robotic Pool Cleaners. Manufactured by Maytronics, the Dolphin Commercial and Domestic ranges provide the absolute best products to clean any type of pool from small plunge pools with 10,000L to the colossal 2½ million litre Olympic sized public swimming pools. These cleaners along with their reputation have allowed us to become a Dolphin Elite Dealer as well as the only Authorised Repairer and Warranty Agent for the Maytronics Brand.

2013 introduced the new Bullfrog Spas Range to our Just Spas Megastore Showroom. The American Manufacturer is now the most energy-efficient spas on a global scale and an innovator in spa technology, therapy and comfort. Glamour Pools & Spas now has one of the largest display of Bullfrog Spas in New South Wales.

Being the largest Independent Pool and Spa store in Newcastle, we offer our clients the best advice regarding their pool and spa needs. Our friendly staff are Factory Certified and highly experienced to give you the best experience in pool and spa repairs, water care and management. We provide mobile on-site home services, phone support and in-store advice and Computerised Water Analysis.

Striving since 1967 and constructing the first concrete pool in the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie area, Glamour Pools and Spas has grown on a set of family values and morals. Although we no longer construct pools, we are now focused on the pool shop and mobile servicing, and the more and more popular Spas and Swim Spas.
